Full Circle

I learned to drive in a mini and my first car was a mini traveller, with the sliding windows and the back doors. I've just come full circle by buying a new mini , also with back doors, and there the similarity ends. Today's minis are about twice the size of the old ones and have all sorts of electronic gizmos, we hadn't even dreamt of forty years ago.
The little old Peugeot is going to a new home, so I shall have to clear out the vast collection of supermarket bags for life, the pocket full of free Moseley Folk Festival CDs, the loose change, the hair grips, the compilation 'Jane's Faves' cassettes ( couldn't play those even in that car, they were from the previous one) , the odd shuttlecock, an assortment of pens and pencils, a duster, some screen wipes , an old towel , nine years of accumulated detritus in fact.
A quick vacuum out and it'll be good to go.
