Antarctica

Ok I am now in Rwanda what is this shot of Antarctica doing here. Well, we flew over Antarctica on the way to Joburg. We flew that way because of the curvature of the earth and to avoid the headwinds, it is the quickest way to go. We flew alongside the ice for some hours, well Antarctica is a big place. A lot of the time it was under cloud but then there were these breaks when you got to see ice to the horizon. If you look large, you can see some bergs. To me they look like they have broken off from an ice shelf and are caught in the sea ice. This was from about 39,000 feet. You can only imagine their size.
