I went to watch Wigan Warriors...

...play Catalans Dragons, and all I got was this daft pic of pre-match entertainers Reggie and Bollie. (Me neither...)

I will restrain myself from ranting about X Factor (apparently they are from that!)  and "all that is wrong with the UK music industry today..."

The first half of the match was brilliant, and we were scoring at will, but in the second half it was like our players decided they'd done enough to win and were going to conserve their strength for next game. Catalans will have no next game and ran in a few tries to make it seem like a closer contest than it actually was. We have a home tie against Hull next week for the semi final play -off, and that is the main thing.

The journey there was a lot easier than last time, but coming back was a bit of a 'mare - nothing but roadworks and long, mysterious diversions! 

The moon looked stunning up on the high ground though - low in the sky, huge and glowing gold above the twinkling city lights. Shame you can't stop on the motorway for photos! 

We did get home - eventually! Much too late to do my Blip though, hence I am back-blipping this morning!
