The Sallow

I simply love Autumnal moths, they are so colourful, in shades of yellow, orange and brown to match the changing colours of the landscape. The Sallow Cirrhia icteritia, is a wonderful yellow colour, with varing amounts of brown. It is a common moth that frequently comes to light, although I only seem to catch one or two each year in my garden. I have added a shot of the whole moth in my extras
