Autumn

The equinox marks the start of Autumn, though the weather is still feeling remarkably summery. The hedgerow shrubs are loaded with berries, including plentiful blackberries. Unfortunately I was too busy working to pick any today. And after an unfortunate altercation with a tripwire bramble, which ended up with me falling heavily and getting a whole raft of prickles embedded in my shin as well as a fine set of lacerations on my calf, I'm not entirely sure I want to go too near any more brambles!
