A Celebration Of Animals

Can't think why I sat here in the cathedral for the annual animals service this afternoon! ;)

This gorgeous young chocolate lab kept me smiling while I was contemplating life with Stella, both past and future. Also reminding me of amazing years with my my old choc girl Brodie. 

All the pets in Ely cathedral were really well behaved, even Canon Victoria Johnson's doggy Percy who is quite a character too :) 

I made sure I got a fuss from several Labradors and Miss Stella didn't give me too much grief about it when I got home!

A quick lunch and a hug with a friend in Costa beforehand and a hug from a friend at the cathedral helped the day pass too.

I've only cried once, go me!
