Why are things never simple?

We bought a new cooker on the 13th July and have had to wait until today for delivery. Don’t ask …..it was complicated!!

As our old cooker was gas hob and electric ovens and the new one is all electric, we had to arrange for the gas man to disconnect it and make safe, which he did last Thursday. Thankfully we were away for the weekend, so a limited number of microwave meals were required.

The new cooker was delivered this morning and we were told that the “man” (on the van) could have disconnected the gas and electrics, as we had been charged for the service. We were also told that he couldn’t connect the new cooker as it needs a higher rated fuse and cable from the wall!!

They left the new cooker and took away the old one.

Next step……find an electrician that can do the work, otherwise the cooker looks very smart but won’t cook the dinner.

I’ve just noticed the specs of polystyrene on the front surface seen on the picture, not obvious to the naked eye!!

I’ve just back blipped the pictures from the weekend as we were away on Saturday night and Blip had problems last night. It was a relief to see us back in business this morning :0)
