Entrance Exam

24th September 2016:

The start of our Second Year in operation we decided to get a little bit more organised and have an entrance exam for the new Form One group.

The idea is not to refuse anyone, but to do a little banding and try to teach our classes at different levels rather than everyone together and maybe neglect (out of necessity) the weaker girls.

I'm sure it will mean more space will be needed, more building, more teachers and more expense, but as I say, we have amazing donors and if we continue to spend our money wisely, our donors will trust and continue supporting us in this amazing project.

This is a huge gathering of girls here and maybe some parents will be able to give us some support. We are now in the middle of serious interviewing procedure which will be followed up by visiting homes. If parents are choosing to support sons, in preference to their daughters, we will have questions to ask.
All parents, guardians and others have signed  up to our procedures regarding attendance at school and Saturday school, keeping girls at home, pregnancy and Child Marriage.  
We hope to have everyone involved on the same page and so far we have had great co-operation.

If anyone has 180 Euro to spare, it will change a little girls life forever, guaranteed.
