On its way out

Bye bye old worktop!  We had a pretty productive day (again) today - we took out the old worktops (after disconnecting the sink waste and tap), took up a chunk of the floor (it's hard work!  The rest will wait for another day), and managed to get the new worktop in place (although not yet fitted).  We also had a quick trip to Homebase - think we're destined to do that at least every other day, as we discover more bits and pieces we need.

Stopped early evening, showered, and went out for dinner (and beer) at Zero Degrees in Blackheath.  Feeling very satisfied with our work today!  (And knackered!)
