Prickly

Experimenting with depth of field today. I have decided that I like blurry backgrounds.

Today also had me winging my way to Stranmillis College for the first of a 10-week 'Hidden History' course. From next week we will be walking around Belfast learning about the Victorian past of the city. We had the most wonderful introduction today, with our lecturer/guide, Jim McDermott, taking us right back to the late 16th century and setting the scene for the weeks ahead. It was absolutely brilliant, as Jim spoke as if each historical figure was his best friend, accounting for actions and personalities with such knowledge and passion; it bodes very well for the next nine weeks!
