Mono munchers

Something has been enjoying a fungal feast in the garden! I'd spotted an odd shape on the lawn (ha!) and went out with my little Canon IXUS camera to see how well it would do macro shots. Quite well, I think!

Some fungi are totally unmolested but this one has been munched to filigree. I thought it would make an appropriate MonoMonday blip, even though it's not particularly 'cultured'...
