Hannah

Mabs1943 and I met Hannah through the photography class run by "Chrisphoto".  She had returned to work four days a week after recovering from Hodgkin's Lymphoma and had Wednesday's free.  In spite of the fact she was half my age we hit it off straight away.

In the summer of 2015 her illness had returned and she was waiting for a donor for stem cell treatment.  I persuaded her to join Blip to record her daily battle, which she did with relish following her operation on 24th February.  Her unfailing humour showed through even on the darkest days and there were plenty of those.

At ninety four days she was rushed into hospital in a coma and woke up paralysed, although her brain, and that humour, remained unimpaired.

She was amazed and humbled by the warmth and generosity of the people she met through Blip, so I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support for her.

Yesterday Jellybean79 lost her battle, aged 36 years and 11 months.
