Our Second Water Lily

Our second water lily emerged today. The pond is in a dark shady corner of the garden, so I think it's a wonder that it opened up at all. The bud had been there, waiting, for at least a week.

It started sunny and became warm. I actually took Basil for a walk.

Made a curry with the leftover chicken from Sunday. Choir tonight. We were singing Demons and Angelicals from The Dream of Gerontius, to be performed with the Bardi Chorus in October.
