Late Harvest

Allotment morning again - time to bury Amy and clean the coo.! Also found a rat hole to block up - oh lucky girl I get all the best jobs! I hung some swiss chard from the frame of the chicken swing, at least it's being useful for something other than swinging! The Two Stooges were the only ones to go near it, and even then they were most suspicious of it! As they are at the top of the pecking order I don't think any of the other girls dared go near anyway!  After all that I was free to gather more fruit, veg and flowers! I can't believe I'm still gathering flowers and with the forecast of an Indian Summer once more for the start of October I may even be gathering more then!
