'Tis the Season....

It is that time of year when conkers liberally fall from the horse chestnut trees.  I love their shiny surfaces and the spiky shells.  This fits the criteria for Abstract Thursday as they are small objects from a very big 'plant'.  I have also used a high macro shot with a reversing ring on a 50mm.  It is a good year for conkers though as they are a good size!

Corrie is a lot better today but we are having further tests done next week to investigate more - better to know if there is a problem and deal with it as far as possible.
