Like a newspaper!

Took Mrs Maurice to the station this morning - she's off to visit her Mum. Did some shopping and took the camera along the Ganavan road in the hope of finding something to Blip in spite of the showery weather. A beautiful, if rather hazy, rainbow framed Dunollie Castle symmetrically but there was nowhere to stop. It probably wouldn't have been that great, but it would have been nice to try.

Settled for one of my favourite kind of ferry pictures - the 'Isle of Mull' steaming away into the distance, the extreme telephoto adding a rather mystical feeling. The beacon is on the little rock at the end of the island of Rubh a' Chruidh, off the tip of the bigger island of Kerrera, at the mouth of Oban Bay.

Going to end up a better day today I think - the sunshine appeared as I was on my way home! Typical.

But why, might you ask, is this picture entitled 'Like a newspaper'? Because it's black and white and read all over, of course!
