Three fewer photographers

Today was the best day we've had here in ages - glorious sunshine from the word go. It coincided with the Inveraray Photo Walk, something that takes place all over the world today. Not the Inveraray one, of course!

A small but select group set off under the leadership of our own Richard Hunt-Smith. We began at 10.30am and continued until after 5pm when I left the group to come home. We left the Co-op car park and went up through the woods, down through Inveraray Castle grounds into the town, through the old town prison and finally drove a short distance up the road to visit the Dubh Loch.

On our way up through the woods we came to this old well, once the water supply for the town. It seemed a handy place to get rid of a few participants, but they must have been released by somebody as they caught up with us a little further on!

Some many pictures - how to choose one!
