Natural Wonder

People travel from far and wide to visit Geysers in Iceland, Niagara Falls and other amazing natural wonders.  You don't have to travel far to enjoy natural spectacles though, as today's picture shows!  The British weather provides plenty of action.  Today's forecast was for 'sunshine and showers.'  I reckon we need a few new words for 'showers.'  Any suggestions?

The train stops here for 30 minutes for refreshments, astonishingly, everyone got off, including those in the carriages outside the protection of the station awning!  I provided some protection with a golf umbrella but was not protected from the bounce-back of sloshing water at ground level :-(  After they left, in a long gap between trains, I put socks and shoes to dry on the office heater!

By mid afternoon's second trip, the sunshine part of the forecast had arrived as shown in the extras where you can also see the train emerging from the sheeting rain shortly before the main blip was taken.
