Scenes from the Shoreline #13

The weather saved its best until last and it was a glorious day on which to bring SweetArt's visit to Aberdeenshire to an end.

We headed down to the beach.  Much to my surprise the ladies decided to have a wee paddle (see extra)!  They braved the invigorating but chilly waters of the North Sea for a few minutes and described the experience as exhilarating!

We returned to the house for a masterclass in baking shortbread.  Mrs CBL passed on her 'secret' recipe to SweetArt and  together they produced a shortbread that was light, crisp and dry.
