The Cabanyal

We arrived in Valencia today for a short break, and after recovering from the journey headed for the beach followed by cocktails and a meal. On the way we wandered through the Cabanyal, Valencia's old fishing quarter, where the facades of many houses consist entirely of colourful tiles. They've been described as a Spanish version of art nouveau.
