....... as they are called round here.

This wasp was rather sleepy .... so it made it easy to be brave & get close enough to get a shot! Normally I give them a wide berth if I can ...... as they seem to enjoy stinging me!

I'm so glad I took it this morning ....... as you can see the sun was shining then ...... it isn't now! In fact it's raining 'cats & dogs'!
