Smoked trout on sour cream with dill. These little fellas went nicely with my salad for lunch.

Just 3 more big sleeps before I head away for the start of the fishing season for a long weekend. Yes, there is only so much I will put on hold for the Earthquake Commission.

Technically the fishing season started 1 October. I'm not sure why we're doing our annual opening trip a week later. That's the plan and if the weather looks awful I'll probably stay home and continue sorting.

Gosh I slept long and well last night. What a cracking way to start the week with a good night's sleep.
