The Great Wave off Kanagawa

Yes, I know it's der Tag der Deutschen Einheit (a holiday to celebrate the reunification of Germany) and I really should have blipped something to do with that. But. It was a rubbish day outside, my back is goosed and I was stuck inside.

And so you get a Blip of another of my favourite pictures.  I'll be completely honest and say that I know very little about the artist Hokusai.  Other works of his? No idea.  This is how my head works - a little about a lot.

And on the Plus side - it was a Monday off and I had a small cat for company for large parts of the day..  Both things are good.
