Roots - Mono Monday

I was out on a short walk this sunny afternoon when I was informed that today's Mono Monday theme was roots.  Well the woodland we walked through was fairly dark and the roots on display not very inspiring so I dug up a weed on the allotment and you have its fine display of its roots against a backdrop of a courgette leaf with a powdery mildew infection.
