MonoMonday: Roots

An interesting challenge today, being at work during most of the daylight hours, and in meetings without a lunch break, there was no prospect of my being able to nip out to take a photo of tree roots. So instead, here is that old standby, brought to you at enormous expense, live and direct from the  vegetable compartment in the fridge, the one, the only (cue drum roll).... Parsnip.  I hope you like what I've done with it, although it has to be said, it tastes better roasted :-)
