To the adult eye, this just looks like a blue glowing thing. Which it is. It's a torch/glow stick hybrid.

But, in the eyes of my Doctor Who obsessed five year old, it isn't a torch... It's a sonic screwdriver, and I am "the most best mummy ever, ever, ever, EVER" for buying it for him.
