Out of all proportion

Normous has just been outside to measure the height of this rose. I didn't want to exaggerate. In fact it is an amazing eleven feet tall! It is called Golden Showers and grows beside the shed. It makes frequent appearances on blipfoto, but never before from so far below.
I've been gardening again today and making real progress. For the first time in years I can garden without hip/back pain. Hurray for hip replacements!
