BCAM - Day 4 Kingston Lacy Castle

A colder start to the day here down south, but again, it did not stop us from the plans that Jeanette and my other Hong Kong friend, Niki, had planned for us.

We had a lovely drive through the New Forest to get to Niki.  We drove past ponies, pigs, horses, cows and sheep.  All quite happy out in the open doing their own thing.  Out in the wild but yet quite timid.

Met up with Niki and had lunch with her and caught up with what's happening in her life.  We then headed out to Dorset to visit Kingston Lacy in Wimborne. This was the 18th century home of the Bankes family. Had a walk through this very glamorous stately home and was particularly impressed with this pink Drawing Room furnished by Henrietta Bankes. She obviously was a lover of pink like myself.  Really beautiful things in this room.  Chose this image, rather than the extra 'pink' image, cause its probably enough with the flowers ... for today anyway.

Walked through the gardens after seeing the whole house and took more pics.  Extras shows a pic of Niki and Jeanette and a beautiful pink hydrangea.

Went back to Niki's for dinner and lots of chat.  The three of us could have solved the worlds problems through all the discussions we had!

May I encourage you to pls click on this LINK to help donate free mammograms to those in need.  Thanks so much.
