My car's in the garage having new brake pads and tyres put on so Son2 kindly let me borrow Ronnie today to take the dogs to the common and then go to work.

Talking of work: there is a dress code coming into force on 17 October! Black bottom half, black outer top and black or white shirt. Depending on your choice of top, therefore, you will either be dressed as a waiter or an undertaker. I most certainly will not be joining in with this silly new policy.
