Reay

59 and I flew to Ballina today for the funeral of our dear family friend.

Mum and Reay met while serving in the Australian Women's Army Service during WW2.
They shared a tent for 3 years which is why Mum always said she didn't like camping.
I boarded with them for a while during my schooldays and Reay made 59's wedding dress which I subsequently wore.

She passed away peacefully at the age of 96.
