Autumn Leaves

Short visit to Newcastle to meet a friend for coffee at Patisserie Valerie.  My first visit there even though I remember seeing one in Soho in London in the 1970's.  I'd never seen such wonderful looking cakes.  These days, although I love looking at the cream cakes I don't feel like eating them.  However I did succumb to a Portuguese Custard Nata Tart.

Then it was home and just a potter around the house and garden.
