Bowling Final

This morning was the final of the Bowling Group Shield. F won it last year with a different partner so the pressure was on. The game was very close and could have gone either way but in the end  F and J were triumphant. I'm sure that the official presentation of the shield will be a future blip! 

This afternoon I made a chocolate cake to take to my son's house tomorrow. The last ingredient was vanilla extract and as I was measuring it into the bowl my hand slipped and some an unknown quantity dropped in. I hope that it hasn't ruined the flavour as I don't have the ingredients to start again. Perhaps the chocolate icing will help to mask it!
