Magnolia - Flower Friday

I have been waiting for this Magnolia grandiflora , Bull Bay to flower in Bicton Gardens.  I remembered that they flower late in the year and have very large flowers.  I was not disappointed today for several were flowering and they have a wonderful intense scent.  As the flower is nestled amongst large areas of evergreen leaves, I thought it might also be considered part of today's twist of leaves.
