Dawn's Journal

Beacon Hill

I was late leaving work, so didn't have much time for my Thursday evening wind down with the camera. So I headed about 3 miles down, or should I say up, the road to Farley Mount in the continuing search for autumn colour.

The trees and hedgerows are still in full green leaf, but walking on past the monument on the top of the mount the view opened out to this glorious sight looking across the downs, bathed in a golden evening glow.
