Susan's Beach Huts

A pretty regular Friday at least in the morning. Down to the gym for a swim followed by a session with weights and on the X trainer.

The conservatory repairs have been completed and look very good indeed. Seem fortunate to have found a craftsman who can do these sorts of repairs.

After lunch it was time to tackle the two pyracantha shrubs over the pond. One has grown vigorously this summer and needed a severe seeing too without losing the bright red berries. The red variety is a vicious shrub with deadly thorns which made it a sod to prune. The other has yellow berries and is more benign. Done now for another year. Mind you Susan says she's not sure if she wants to keep it as it is not growing very straight and is rather too big for the space even when pruned.

Today's blip is Susan's latest painting and in the background you can see the outline of the next subject - Autumn - which, no doubt, you'll see here in the future.
