Overflow

Next on our tour of England's reservoirs were Damflask, Agden and this one, Dale Dike. This the overflow should it need it.

We'd just the day to ourselves wandering several miles around the area with no particular agenda. High Bradfield was clearly a major place in the 17th-19th centuries going by the gravestones and the size of the church. It's now an archetypal church, pub and a few houses.

One wonderfully pragmatic gravestone.  "Here lieth the body of Ioseph Beaver who died"

Pubs for lunch, afternoon snack and the evening meal. No car, no road sign stress. Nice.
