Out of the car

It was good to get out into the fresh air and walk by some water, after a day in the car. We always try to get some miles eaten up on a Sunday, when the autoroutes are quiet – no trucks and not a lot else either.
  
We are now near Troyes and staying in the Forêt d’Orient close to the Lac d’Orient, one of three great man-made lakes in the National Park. It was a sunny late afternoon and the reflections on the water were lovely. We’re in a Golf & Spa Hotel, but are neither playing golf nor using the spa! The rooms are rather splendid though. (It was cheap on a Sunday!)
