Still there, still watching.
I extended his view a bit this afternoon, clearing another batch of laurel saplings so that some light to get to the rather flimsy hedge that was underneath them. One day I'll run out of laurel to cut down but I don't think we're there just yet.
The large group of guests has almost left - one couple staying on an extra night. A calm has descended but it was good to have the house lively over the weekend; and great to hear the piano being played by an excellent young pianist.
