Deep Purple

My favourite is colour is purple so I was delighted to find that the clematis in our garden has flowered. It is a glorious shade of purple..... I have just been out in the garden to rescue a baby thrush. The parents were making an enormous racket. Morris the Maine Coon was sitting staring at the baby bird on the ground. I have put the baby up out of reach on some ivy. I am hoping its parents will be able to rescue it from there.
