Over the volcano - Largo Law, Fife

My other half and I decided to get up early this morning and head off to shin up Largo Law - having checked various on-line advice which indicated that you needed to keep strictly to the path.

The first part of the actual ascent was near-vertical, and I seriously doubted my ability to return by the same path. However, having explored various other directions and found them wanting, we were forced to drop down and use the "slitherin' doon" option. If my children had come back with their kit as dirty as mine was, they'd have got a ticking off!

Worth it to climb for the views. Would have been a better option on a clearer day.
