Rather showery this morning .......  so ..... with fingers crossed & macs to hand ...... this afternoon we set off to Willow Tree Fen for a walk. It was quite nippy ..... but the looming dark clouds didn't produce any rain ....... so it was a pleasant, bracing walk after all :-)

When we arrived it looked rather bleak & deserted .... but improved ....... we saw 3 Kestrels hunting ..... a flock of Long-tailed Tits ...... this family of Swans ....... also some sheep & cattle grazing. There was also a Heron .... but he didn't fancy hanging around for a photo shoot!

As we started for home a Buzzard swooped really low over the car ..... great to see it so close ..... wish I had managed to get a shot though ...... but maybe another time.
