Sally Mair - Loving life

Pollensa Pueblo

I don't often use photo effects, but somehow this narrow street in Pollença looked good in sepia. The town stands on a hill inland from the modern coastal town of Porto Pollença. It has beautiful buildings and narrow, twisting, medieval streets - a challenge to my first experience of driving from the wrong side of the car.
The town's symbol is a Cockerel, the extra pic is of a modern sculpture of one at the bottom of the 365 steep steps leading up to the town's Calvary chapel. I didn't climb them this year as I've done that before.
It's a beautiful old town, a little off the beaten track and really well worth a visit.
