Storm Clouds Gather

I had to go to town today. I would rather not have had to as it has been very rainy today, and I have this cold. But bills needed paying, and I had a parcel to collect that the postie could not fit through the letterbox yesterday. 

The weather was by turns lashing rain and very warm sun. I'm glad to report that both my new boots and coat kept the rain out, and are sufficiently warm to leave me stewing between showers.

The parcel turned out to be a lovely gift from fellow Blipper Tracey of Trooper, the beer created by Iron Maiden. Thank you so very much! I'm sure that will act as a great cold remedy!
