Can't win 'em all

Photo club tonight got me a third place and two highly commended images which pleased me as it's my first attempt in the advanced category.   Jill (JDO) was also there and also did well with her images.

What was less impressive was my attempt at a Blip today.  I have been busy all day but this evening there were some interesting clouds scudding across the sky but no wind at ground level so I tried a long exposure in the fading light to show cloud movement.

Unfortunately,  by the time I got my kit together the sky had become featureless so this is it - the only image I have got.    Don't think this will be going into any club competitions.
