A WEE TOUR OF THE HIGHLANDS

Day 1 of our wee tour of the Highlands and here we are in Inverness. We're going to head over to the west coast tomorrow over the Bealach na Ba (Gallic for cattle pass) to Applecross. We've camped here before (in a tent) and it's a lovely spot right on the coast. Just hope the weather holds up.

Update on last night's show, Endeavour with Bear Grylls: a great show with plenty of action as you might expect with Bear Grylls. He enacted the endeavours of past explorers and adventurers like Douglas Mawson, Valery Rozov, Juliane Koepke, George Mallory and many more. It was both entertaining and informative. The meal we had before the show was almost mediocre so I think we'll choose a different restaurant next time!
