USA Backblip #3 : Grand Canyon South Rim

Following our time in Oak Creek / Sedona, it's on to one of the major sights - Grand Canyon.

There really is no way to explain the scale of Grand Canyon to anyone who hasn't seen it : circa 25 miles from south to north rim and circa 1 mile from rim to canyon floor is meaningless unless you can see the scale with your own eyes. 

My key tip is to get away from the main tourist car parks / visitor centres / etc. Walking out along the rim trail is amazingly peaceful once you're away from the tourist spots.
