The Promise of Blueberries

The flower of the blueberry is very delicate and pretty and so are their leaves at this stage. I have 3 plants and they are covered in these pretty bell like flowers - hopefully it means a good harvest.

It rained this morning. I helped with the annual Pink Ribbon collection  and while sitting at a table in the High Street,  the weather turned really cold.  This afternoon we suddenly had a loud clap of thunder followed by a heavy fall of hail . I hope it has not caught the orchards again - it is disastrous for the budding fruit .
