Nordic walking

As you can see, in stark contrast to yesterday it was a lovely day. We decided to go out for a walk in the afternoon. S's favoured option was a three-hour yomp round the sentier sculpturel. Mine was a very brief flat walk. We compromised on the 80-metre climb up to Notre Dame de Carla, last visited on 11/11/11 for one of the most remarkable theatre productions I've ever experienced. The memory is so vivid that I could re-envisage what had happened at various spots along the path through the woods. No mushrooms to be found -- it's been far too hot and dry.
