Meadow With Red Stripe

I'm having a little trouble adjusting to the new lens. With only one eye done, it seems like the other one is awfully strained, and it's another week before that lens will be replaced. They say it can take weeks before things settle down. In the meantime, I am being made constantly aware of how much I use my eyes. Duh. The soft early light and misty meadow were gentle and perfect for my situation on our morning walk. We got out between the raindrops. Now, in the evening, I can hear much heavier rain and wind against the windows.
