Davaar Island from Davaar House

13.3C and dull with rain from about 10am until about 3pm. ESE/SE wind to 32 mph with gusts to 46 mph.

Grocery shopping over by mid morning. We left Maeve the Deerhound at home again.

Since it was raining we waited until after 3pm then drove round to the Doirlinn car park and walked with Maeve the Deerhound along the road and past the 69 mile marker on the Kintyre Way, Davaar House, and Kildalloig farm to the 70 mile marker. The sun did try to come out from behind the clouds from time to time. Once past Davaar House we could really feel the wind. At least it stayed dry until we walked back to the car and came home.

Later Apothecary7 went on with working on her latest painting.
